Huge congratulations to CamperKing Ambassador and ultramarathon runner, John Stocker who has successfully completed and won the Suffolk Backyard Ultra on Monday 30th May after continuously running for 43 hours.
John began the race on Saturday 28th May and completed the challenge on Monday 30th May at 7am which saw him take the winners trophy after completing his 43rd yard.
The challenge required John to run a 4.167-mile trail within the hour ready to start the next loop, which saw the race continue until John was the only person left to complete the loop.
Outrunning the competition, the CamperKing ambassador has secured another win under his belt making John the third consecutive winner of the Suffolk Backyard Ultra.
The ultra-marathon winner picked up his CamperKing last week which his family utilised during the challenge as a base hub to keep dry and camp out in so they were able to support John whilst he continued running overnight.
We spoke to John Stocker on his latest win "What an incredible experience and so pleased to have come this far. It wasn't easy but knowing my family was there watching me spurred me on, even at 3am I kept telling myself just one more loop."
Following his win at the Suffolk Backyard Ultra over the weekend, the ultramarathon runner qualifies for the National Championships in mid-October.
