CamperKing sponsors Stratford Rugby Club's 24-hour walkathon to raise funds for DEC Ukraine Appeal
CamperKing is proud to be sponsoring the Stratford-Upon-Avon Rugby Club's 24-hour walkathon to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Appeal.
Members and friends of the rugby club will be walking for a full 24 hours from 11am on Saturday 2nd April to 11am on Sunday 3rd April to raise money for those affected by the war in Ukraine.
Heavy fighting, shelling and airstrikes across Ukraine have had devastating consequences. Already, an estimated four million people have fled the country to escape the intense conflict.
On Saturday 2nd April, the rugby club will play host to the first XV vs Kenilworth. During this time, the club will be fundraising in various ways, including cake sales, face painting as well as raffles and auctions.
To show our support for the cause, the CamperKing Team will be parked with our Chrome Yellow and Ravenna Blue CamperKing campervans where walkers will have the opportunity for a pit stop during the walk, to grab refreshments and take photos.
Rugby fans will also have the opportunity to win a rugby ball signed by England Rugby World Cup winner and CamperKing Ambassador, Jason Robinson OBE. All proceeds raised from the event raffle will go towards the appeal.
As event sponsors, we have made a monetary donation toward the DEC Ukraine Appeal and have donated a raffle prize, where the winner will be able to hire a CamperKing campervan for three nights.
