Club CamperKing member Andrew Prosser is celebrating after winning Best Camper Conversion with his CamperKing Monte Carlo in a competition in Wales.
Andrew picked up his campervan in March and was delighted to win the prize at the Dubs in the Valley event in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, which took place in September.
The event was attended by as many as 6,000 people and although he had intended to stay for longer, Andrew only visited for one day. Despite this, he was delighted to pick up the award (below).
Andrew and his wife Julie regularly attend Volkswagen van shows, but Andrew also uses the van to enjoy his carp-fishing hobby. He plans to take it to the continent in 2023 to enjoy fishing there too.
Andrew, who bought the vehicle in March 2022, also explained that he gets stopped frequently when out and about by people admiring his van, but that he enjoys showing it off.
He added: "I love that I can park the van on the driveway so the two of us can shoot off on a Friday. I used to have to pay quite a bit to park my previous motorhome elsewhere because it didn't fit on the driveway, so it makes it much more practical."
