Three days in and the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show is in full swing with thousands of visitors having already explored the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on the hunt for new leisure vehicles and camping accessories.
If you've been following our blog and social media channels this week, you'll know this year's show also marks the first occasion that CamperKing has campervans available to see in the exhibition halls. By visiting stands 4150 (Vango) and 2000 (The Caravan and Motorhome Club) you can see both a Le Mans campervan and a long wheelbase St Tropez campervan on display.
The first two days of the show, Tuesday and Wednesday, were busy and crowds of people were attracted to the campervans throughout each day.
Watch a short video below, showing a few of our highlights from the opening days of the show.
With Friday, Saturday and Sunday still to go, there's still plenty in store for visitors to the show.
Today saw former Royal Marine turned TV presenter and extreme adventurer Aldo Kane reflecting on a recent camping trip through the USA.
Later in the day, show-goers also heard from comedian Paul Merton and his wife Suki Webster, whose new Channel 5 TV series Motorhoming with Merton and Webster has followed their adventures to some of the UK's most stunning destinations.
For anyone heading to the show over the next few days, there are some key things to look out for.
Friday at the show is sponsored by The Camping and Caravanning Club, with special discounts and incentives for anyone who is a club member. In addition there will be talks at the Inspiration Theatre from Steve and Lyndsey Radford (AKA the Roaming Radfords), recounting their family trip on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, a beginner's guide to wild swimming with Lola Culsan, author of the guides Wild Swimming Spain and Outdoor Swimming London. At 3pm, editor of Country Walking magazine Nick Hallissey will take his audience on an illustrated tour of the nation's greatest walks.
Nick makes a return on Saturday, speaking again at 11am. Later on there will be an opportunity to hear adventurer Richard Harpham giving an introduction to stand-up paddleboarding. He'll be back on Sunday too.
Visitors can also check out some of the major exhibitors and companies that CamperKing already works with. We are of course on the Vango and Caravan and Motorhome Club stands, but you can also spot Red Paddle Co, Don Amott Leisure Kingdom, Coleman, Outwell, Motorhome Wifi, Cadac, Brunner and many more.
Check out more details about CamperKing's appearance at the NEC on this page. And keep an eye on our blog for further updates throughout the week.
If you're attending the show, don't forget to visit both campervans and enter our photo competition to win a £50 voucher to spend in the CamperKing Shop, details of which you'll find on the campervans themselves. And remember that CamperKing is just 35 minutes away from the NEC by road, so why not build a visit to our showroom into your day out?
