Billed as the magazine for motorhome, caravan, and camping inspiration, Touring Magazine is a recognised UK authority on everything touring-related, so we are thrilled to receive this accolade from the magazine. As part of its regular ‘Hot List’ feature, Touring Magazine recently put together its pick of ‘The Best Campervans for 2022’ and it is within this list that the Portofino was chosen as the ‘Best campervan for luxury and cooking’. Discussing the Portofino, Touring Magazine highlighted the spacious living area provided by the model, the adult-friendly pop top bed, the ambient lighting, wine rack, and the external barbecue point. The magazine described all of these features as things to expect from a luxury camper. However, it was the full-size oven/grill, three-burner hob, and 20-litre drawer fridge that ensured the Portofino got Touring Magazine’s vote.  Summing up the Portofino’s kitchen facilities and positioning it against the competition, Touring Magazine said *“Most campervans have a couple of small ring burners and, maybe, a small grill that will see you through a weekend. This setup will see you through the winter and beyond and will not let you down, if you decide to hold an impromptu alfresco dinner party!”* To find out more about what Touring Magazine had to say about the Portofino and discover why they chose it as the ‘Best campervan for luxury and cooking’, read the full article - [The Best Campervans for 2022](https://touring.co.uk/the-best-campervans-for-2022/) Discover the [Portofino](https://www.camperking.co.uk/portofino-6-seater-campervan/) for yourself, or see our [Portofinos available to drive away today](https://www.camperking.co.uk/vw-campers-for-sale/?wheelbase=&transmission=&model=portofino-6-seater-campervan&berths=&min_price=&max_price=&mileage=&colour=&sortbysec=&page=1&action=filter_posts).   ## Related Articles [![](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/Discover%20Scottish%20Caravan%2c%20Motorhome%20%26%20Holiday%20Show%20(1).webp)](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/discover-camperking-at-scottish-leisure-industry-show-this-week) [Campervan](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/campervan) [T6.1](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/t6-1) [VW](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/vw) [Motorhome and Caravan Show](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/motorhome-and-caravan-show) [Transporter](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/transporter) ### [Discover CamperKing at Scottish leisure industry show this week](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/discover-camperking-at-scottish-leisure-industry-show-this-week) If you're local to the Glasgow area, why not check out CamperKing at the Scottish Caravan and Motorhome Show 2023 at the SEC this week? ![CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/camperking-badge-vintage-red-rgb-1.svg) [CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/author/camperking-team) [Read more](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/discover-camperking-at-scottish-leisure-industry-show-this-week) [![](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/CamperKing%20Authorised%20Dealers%20Exhibiting%20At%20The%20Western%20Motorhome%20%26%20Campervan%20Show%202023%20-%203.webp)](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/come-and-see-our-campervans-the-western-motorhome-campervan-show-2023) [AEG Motorhomes](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/aeg-motorhomes) [Shows](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/shows) [croyland car megastore](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/croyland-car-megastore) ### [CamperKing Authorised Dealers Exhibiting At The Western Motorhome & Campervan Show](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/come-and-see-our-campervans-the-western-motorhome-campervan-show-2023) You will be able to find plenty of CamperKing campervans on display at The Western Motorhome and Campervan Show this weekend (18-20 August 2023), as two of our... ![CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/camperking-badge-vintage-red-rgb-1.svg) [CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/author/camperking-team) [Read more](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/come-and-see-our-campervans-the-western-motorhome-campervan-show-2023) #### About - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three #### Services - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three #### News - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three Follow us on Facebook Follow us on LinkedIn Follow us on Twitter Follow us on Instagram ![](https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=653647758774155&ev=PageView&noscript=1) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "CamperKing Team", "url" : "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/author/camperking-team" }, "dateModified" : "2022-06-17T11:01:53.276Z", "datePublished" : "2022-06-17T09:24:06.000Z", "headline" : "Portofino named one of ‘The Best Campervans for 2022’ by Touring Magazine", "image" : [ "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/Touring%20Magazine%20-%20The%20Best%20Campervans%202022%20(1).jpg" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/portofino-named-one-of-the-best-campervans-for-2022-by-touring-magazine", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/camperking-badge-white-rgb-1.svg" }, "name" : "CamperKing Ltd" } } ```
