CamperKing would like to wish our Authorised Dealer, Don Amott Leisure Kingdom, a happy 60th year in business.
The company, based near Derby, is celebrating an impressive six decades in business, having been founded by Don Amott Sr in 1963.

It has grown to occupy a 24-acre sales, service and showroom site at Hilton, Derbyshire, where CamperKing's campervans are currently sold – as well as operating leisure parks in Lincolnshire and Staffordshire. The company has remained with the Amott family, and is majority-owned by Don Amott Jr.
CamperKing and Don Amott Leisure Kingdom have been working together for more than eight years and all models of CamperKing conversion can either be found ready to drive away or can be ordered at the Hilton site.
Originally a toy-seller, Don Amott Sr started the caravan and motorhome sales business following interest from passers-by in his second-hand caravans, which he had moved from a holiday park on the east coast back to the Midlands for the winter period. After making a success of caravan sales and outgrowing its original site, the company settled at Hilton where the caravan and motorhome sales business has been growing ever since.
It now boasts 15,000 sq ft of indoor showroom space, a large accessories shop, caravan and motorhome storage facilities, a service and MOT centre and even a small café. The company was recently recognised in the EM200 (East Midlands 200) awards, being named 34th in the top 200 companies in the region, based on recent profits.
