Breakfast Show producer Ollie Conopo will be undertaking a series of tasks on the show based on activities that he's never tried before. With the help of CamperKing, Ollie will be experiencing the campervan lifestyle for the first time. He'll be taking a closer look at one of our [Le Mans models](https://www.camperking.co.uk/le-mans-6-seater-campervan/) shown below. ![IMG_1612](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_1612.webp?width=323&height=275&name=IMG_1612.webp)    ![20_09_22_CK_Int_033](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/20_09_22_CK_Int_033.webp?width=413&height=275&name=20_09_22_CK_Int_033.webp) To make sure Ollie's first taste of camping is a memorable one, we'll be working with The Camping and Caravanning Club, one of the UK's largest national camping organisations, who will be promoting the lifestyle to Ollie and listeners. Ollie will also be given the chance to try out both tent camping and caravanning as part of the show. ![C&CC logo](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/C%26CC%20logo.png?width=194&height=260&name=C%26CC%20logo.png) Simon McGrath, Head of Communications and External Relations at the Camping and Caravanning Club said:  "The whole essence is to introduce Ollie to the wonders of our pastime. It’s all about igniting a passion for the great outdoors and a connection with that happy, healthy feeling camping gives you, so we're hoping Ollie has a great time and really gets the bug for going camping again in the future." The broadcast will be coming from White Mills Marina Camping near Northampton, and will take place on Thursday 22nd June, with segments being played throughout the Annabel Amos Breakfast Show periodically from about 7.20am. White Mills Marina Camping is a secluded, tree-lined site next to the narrow boat marina of the same name. With great views of the RIver Nene, it's a lovely spot for a first camp. The site belongs to the Certificated Site network of the Camping and Caravanning Club, meaning it's a small site with room for up to five campervans, caravans or motorhomes, and a separate tent camping area. In order to listen to the broadcast, tune in on 104.2FM or 103.6FM if you're in the local area, or head to your DAB radio and search BBC Radio Northampton to find the show. Alternatively you can [listen online](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc_radio_northampton).  We're aiming to give Ollie a debut camping experience to remember!     ## Related Articles [![](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/CamperKing%20Authorised%20Dealers%20Exhibiting%20At%20The%20Western%20Motorhome%20%26%20Campervan%20Show%202023%20-%203.webp)](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/come-and-see-our-campervans-the-western-motorhome-campervan-show-2023) [AEG Motorhomes](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/aeg-motorhomes) [Shows](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/shows) [croyland car megastore](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/croyland-car-megastore) ### [CamperKing Authorised Dealers Exhibiting At The Western Motorhome & Campervan Show](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/come-and-see-our-campervans-the-western-motorhome-campervan-show-2023) You will be able to find plenty of CamperKing campervans on display at The Western Motorhome and Campervan Show this weekend (18-20 August 2023), as two of our... ![CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/camperking-badge-vintage-red-rgb-1.svg) [CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/author/camperking-team) [Read more](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/come-and-see-our-campervans-the-western-motorhome-campervan-show-2023) [![](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/campervancampout.webp)](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/see-us-at-the-southern-motorhome-and-campervan-show) [Campervan](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/campervan) [campervans for sale](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/campervans-for-sale) [dealers](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/tag/dealers) ### [See CamperKing campervans at the Southern Motorhome and Campervan Show](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/see-us-at-the-southern-motorhome-and-campervan-show) You'll find plenty of CamperKing campervans on display at the Southern Motorhome and Campervan Show this weekend (19-21 May 2023), thanks to our Authorised Dealers... ![CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/camperking-badge-vintage-red-rgb-1.svg) [CamperKing Team](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/author/camperking-team) [Read more](https://blog.camperking.co.uk/see-us-at-the-southern-motorhome-and-campervan-show) #### About - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three #### Services - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three #### News - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three Follow us on Facebook Follow us on LinkedIn Follow us on Twitter Follow us on Instagram ![](https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=653647758774155&ev=PageView&noscript=1) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "CamperKing Team", "url" : "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/author/camperking-team" }, "dateModified" : "2023-07-05T09:44:41.281Z", "datePublished" : "2023-06-21T09:00:00.000Z", "headline" : "CamperKing helps BBC radio producer get a taste of campervan life", "image" : [ "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/BBC%20RN-1.jpg" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/camperking-helps-bbc-radio-producer-get-a-taste-of-campervan-life", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://blog.camperking.co.uk/hubfs/camperking-badge-white-rgb-1.svg" }, "name" : "CamperKing Ltd" } } ```
