CamperKing’s T7 Freedom achieves formal VCA Type Approval

We’re pleased to announce that the CamperKing T7 Freedom campervan has now formally received full GB Unlimited Series Whole Vehicle Type Approval from the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA).

It had already been confirmed that the T7 Freedom met all required standards, but today we’re proud to confirm that this process is now complete and officially recognised with the formal issuing of the certificate.

What is VCA Type Approval?

Type Approval is a formal certification process carried out by the UK’s Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA). It ensures that a vehicle meets strict national regulatory standards across key areas such as safety, construction, and environmental compliance.

Rather than assessing individual vehicles in isolation, Type Approval verifies that a vehicle design, build process, and specification consistently meet these standards across production. This means every CamperKing T7 Freedom built under this approval is manufactured to the same compliant and approved standard.
