Day two highlights at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show

As day two at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show got underway, there was a sense that it would be a quieter affair than Tuesday, the first day of the show.

But it soon became clear that the appetite for leisure vehicles in 2023 is sustained and shows no sign of abating, as thousands of visitors poured through the doors.

This is the largest leisure industry show in the country and it also marks the first occasion that CamperKing has campervans available to see in the exhibition halls. By visiting stands 4150 (Vango) and 2000 (The Caravan and Motorhome Club) you can see both a Le Mans campervan and a long wheelbase St Tropez campervan on display.

And the second day of the show proved just as busy for CamperKing as day one, with a constant stream of interest in the campervans we have on show.

There was even a brief visit from Gully Mouse, the mascot for Gulliver's World Theme Parks and Resorts (above) who seemed especially impressed by our Fortana Red St Tropez.

Here's a small selection of images from day two of the event.

Highlights from day two of the show included an appearance by Strictly Come Dancing winner and wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin, revealing his insights into a world behind the camera as well as some of his favourite spots in the UK to go nature watching.

Visitors also had the chance to see an interview with Aldo Kane, a former Royal Marines Commando Sniper, who is now more familiar to people as an extreme adventurer and TV presenter. He chatted about some of his more extreme assignments including abseiling into an active volcano.

If you're attending the show on Thursday, Aldo will be back at the Inspiration Theatre at 11am for more of the same. In addition, comedian Paul Merton will be attending alongside Suki Webster with whom he presents the Channel 5 series Motorhoming with Merton and Webster. They'll be giving a talk at 12.30pm.

Following that there will be an appearance by writer and camping expert Caroline Mills, of Touring Magazine, which awarded our Portofino model Best Campervan for Luxury and Cooking in 2022.

Check out more details about CamperKing's appearance at the NEC on this page. And keep an eye on our blog for further updates throughout the week.

If you're attending the show, don't forget to visit both campervans and enter our photo competition to win a £50 voucher to spend in the CamperKing Shop, details of which you'll find on the campervans themselves. And remember that CamperKing is just 35 minutes away from the NEC by road, so why not build a visit to our showroom into your day out?
