Why you won't find CamperKing at the Motorhome and Caravan Show
You may be attending this autumn's Motorhome and Caravan Show at Birmingham's NEC. You'll find numerous campervan conversion companies there, but you won't see us. Why?
The reasons are fairly straightforward.
We're kind of like the Direct Line of campervan companies! We forego expensive show space and traditional advertising in order to keep our overheads low and therefore pass on greater savings to our customers.
Undoubtedly, having a presence at an event such as the Motorhome and Caravan Show would be a prestigious and worthwhile exercise, but consider the overall cost of the stand space, the materials and time spent designing and building the stand itself, mobilising a number of staff to not only be present at the show for several days but also to build the stand beforehand and break it down afterwards, not to mention the knock-on effect of limited people-power back at our HQ, and you would be running into the tens of thousands of pounds.
Our simple view is that those costs could be saved and passed on as savings to our customers. We believe this is reflected in the window prices of the vehicles we have for sale right now, and also the prices we quote for build-to-order and donor conversions.
Add to this the fact that our HQ is a mere 35 minutes travel time from the National Exhibition Centre and you can start to picture why we encourage show visitors to build time into their day to come and see us as well. In fact it's such a quick journey, we thought we'd show you in this little video below.
Not to mention of course, that if you are heading to the NEC, and you don't find what you're looking for we're in the perfect position to help. We have more than 60 vehicles on our forecourt ready to be driven away, and if even then you don't find one that suits you, we have literally hundreds of panel vans on order that you can pick from and customise to your exact needs.
