CamperKing owner en-route to deliver aid for Ukraine orphans
Club CamperKing member, David Barrett, and a friend are today travelling to the outskirts of Poland to deliver much-needed aid to an orphanage housing over 65 Ukrainian children up to 18 years old in David's CamperKing campervan.
Arranged by the Central Beds Ukraine Appeal with its contacts in Poland, David and his friend Paul Naylor will be utilising the Monte Carlo short wheel-base CamperKing loaded with aid including clothes, shoes and nappies and driving it across the continent over the coming days.
Not only is David driving across Europe to deliver the aid, but he is also fundraising for the orphanage where the proceeds will be distributed to the children who have just arrived from Ukraine with very few possessions.
Last year, David and his mother, from Milton Keynes, were both looking to purchase a campervan and decided to each buy one, the most recent of which they collected last month.
We spoke to David to find out why he chose his CamperKing to travel across Europe, this is what he had to say;
"Simply because I believe in it! It's easy and convenient to travel around Europe in and why not do some good while I'm there!"
David left his Bedfordshire home today to cross the Channel at 5pm for France and we'll be following his journey across Europe on our Instagram and Facebook pages.
