Club CamperKing visits Cotswold Farm Park!

Club CamperKing visits Cotswold Farm Park

Over the first weekend of September, we were delighted to join our Club CamperKing members on our second annual stay at Cotswold Farm Park, and it was even bigger and better than ever!

With over 25 pitches filled, and close to 70 CCK members, we graced the sunny site in the heart of the Cotswolds. Greeted by the staff including the lovely Tracey, we found our pitches with ease, hooked up the vans, unpacked our belongings, and waited for the rest of the group to arrive

With the majority of the group arriving by mid-afternoon on the Friday, we were free to explore the farm itself. With plenty on offer, ranging from a play area for kids, to taking a tour of the rare breeds trail, and having the chance to feed and interact with all the animals, such as Highland cows and newly born piglets.

Friday night brought one of the highlights of the trip, as a group of 40+ members gathered around our very own Erin’s van, we watched the sun drape the sky in amazing colours, drinking and mingling the night away until it was time for lights off.

“Thanks CamperKingers. Great weekend. CCK are simply the best.” - Lee McLean

Saturday morning arrived with the dew settling on the ground, and bright eyes looking forward to what the day had in store. With the farm opening up, the Club and general public were offered the chance to feed some of the lambs and goats, and enjoy the stunning weather that we were treated to.

With Saturday evening on the horizon, the CamperKing staff were introduced to the star of the show, Mr. Adam Henson himself, and he couldn’t have been more welcoming. After taking time to have a look around the variety of campervans on offer, chatting with us about what we offer and even sorting his own social posts from our stay, he then headed over to the garden area of the Ox Shed, speaking to all the Club CamperKing members and thanking them for visiting his Farm Park.

Saturday night saw us once again gathered around Erin’s luminous van, with Club members making some delicious homemade s'mores, and enjoying a drink as we shared stories and insight into everyone’s travels and campervan life experiences.

Sunday meant it was time to pack up and head home, but not before a quick discussion was had with the staff at Cotswold Farm Park, provisionally confirming that we’ll be back for 2024, and potentially booking out the whole of the campsite!

We were delighted to have spent time with the Club members over the weekend. Here’s some of the feedback they gave us…

“We’ve absolutely loved this weekend - next time we’ll be quicker to book.. We’ll definitely be coming again! The girls have had a fab weekend, looking forward to the next one!” - Lottie Ridgeman

"Expectations were high as we made out way to Cotswold Farm Park for our second Club CamperKing meet up! And we certainly weren’t disappointed! A fabulous location with plenty to do and an opportunity to meet up with friends new and old. We had a great time catching up on all things VW CamperKing related, from the best campsites to stay at to the best van modifications. We are looking forward to the next meet up.  We love being part of the CCK community” - Cheryl, Nigel and Mac the Springer!

"I would like to express my gratitude on behalf of the Club CamperKing crew for your hosting hospitality over the weekend. Cotswold Farm Park is a fantastic spot for such a meet, both in terms of location and what it has to offer. Bonus meeting Adam Henson too along with the Ox Shed and on-site restaurant!
As a Club CamperKing ambassador I am proud to be able to share the experience with so many like minded people who just love their vanlife! I complete a ‘life first’ at the weekend by supporting Lee to pick potatoes which I have never done before!
Thank you …… buzzing for another!" - Sonya Mclean
