Day four highlights from the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show

With just the weekend left for visitors to attend the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at Birmingham's NEC, time is growing short to go and see CamperKing's campervans in situ at the show for the first time.

Appearing at this major industry show for the very first time, CamperKing has two campervans on display. If you've been following our blog and social media channels this week, you'll know that by visiting stands 4150 (Vango) and 2000 (The Caravan and Motorhome Club) you can see both a Le Mans campervan and a long wheelbase St Tropez campervan.

As the show headed into the weekend, Friday saw appearances from Steve and Lyndsey Radford (AKA the Roaming Radfords), recounting their family trip on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way in the Inspiration Theatre. Show-goers also had the chance to learn about wild swimming with Lola Culsan, author of the guides Wild Swimming Spain and Outdoor Swimming London. And editor of Country Walking magazine Nick Hallissey took his audience on an illustrated tour of the nation's greatest walks.

Friday at the show is sponsored by The Camping and Caravanning Club, with special discounts and incentives for anyone who is a club member.

If you're into watersports, why not take a look at the Watersports Pool and Beachside Café, a custom-built area at the rear of Hall 5, where there will be free kayak and paddleboarding sessions with expert tuition. Don't worry about getting wet as changing rooms are available!

You can also take a breather at the Forest Camp area with talks and demonstrations on foraging, campsite cookery and bushcraft. There will also be advice on how to encourage nature into your garden at home.

Should you be travelling with young children, in Hall 1 there is a fun fair, complete with a carousel and helter skelter, plus there's some family-friendly bingo twice a day (noon and 3pm).

Visitors can also check out some of the major exhibitors and companies that CamperKing already works with. We are of course on the Vango and Caravan and Motorhome Club stands, but you can also spot Red Paddle Co, Don Amott Leisure Kingdom, Coleman, Outwell, Motorhome Wifi, Cadac, Brunner and many more.

And if you're shopping at the show, there's literally dozens of stands where you can add to your camping kit-list, with everything from pet accessories to raincoats. There's a secure Shop & Drop service available if you don't want to carry your purchases around with you.

Check out more details about CamperKing's appearance at the NEC on this page. And keep an eye on our blog for further updates throughout the week.

If you're attending the show, don't forget to visit both campervans and enter our photo competition to win a £50 voucher to spend in the CamperKing Shop, details of which you'll find on the campervans themselves. And remember that CamperKing is just 35 minutes away from the NEC by road, so why not build a visit to our showroom into your day out?
